My name is Monique Awater and my family and I live in the Netherlands. Next to being a mother, I am an English teacher, specialised in teaching English as a foreign language to young children, teenagers and adults.

Instead of teaching at a school, I have chosen to give private, fully customised lessons. My students are: children of expats, to prepare them for studying at an international school in a foreign country; highschool students to help them with their homework, preparing for tests, their final exams, etc.; adults who need to improve their English for their work of more personal reasons. So all of my lessons are fully customised to meet their training needs. That means I spend a lot of time on the Internet, looking for any kind of usable (free) teaching materials that might help me.

The reason why I have set up this website is to help other teachers find usable, helpful free resources. Especially those that can be fun as well!  So any suggestions (links) are more than welcome.
